Suffolk Theater Hires New Marketing Director

The Suffolk Theater has chosen a candidate with deep roots in the Riverhead community to head up marketing efforts.

Fourth generation Riverhead resident Diane Tucci was recently chosen as director of marketing for the theater.
Tucci has a business and marketing degree and experience in media, and has worked for the Suffolk Theater as resident photographer during the construction and renovation phases, until the present

Her love of photography was born in her father's darkroom, Tucci said.

"Her outside-the-box thinking and creativity is captured not only in her photos, but led her to take on her new position," the Suffolk Theater said in a release.

Tucci has also worked as a freelance art director and marketing consultant for numerous clients, including jazz legend Al Di Meola, national magazines, and a series of local East End publications; Tucci has graphic design and social media experience, as well as marketing expertise. 

Born and raised in Riverhead, Tucci has long been a theater lover and plans to heighten awareness of the Suffolk Theater's presence on Main Street, as well as to its diverse programming, in order to establish the theater as a cornerstone of downtown revitalization, she said.

“I have a great respect for the hard work and dedication of owners Bob and Dianne Castaldi,” Tucci said.
