10th Annual Hamptons Restaurant Week Kicks Off Sunday

Local restaurants are offering fixed menu prices from March 18 through March 25.

Sunday marks the start of the 10th annual Hamptons Restaurant week, where top-rated restaurants across the East End will offer three-course meals for a prix fixe of $19.95 or $24.95.

Sponsored by Long Island Restaurant and Hospitality Group, a division of WordHampton public relations firm, Hamptons Restaurant Week is aimed at getting people out to try new restaurants. More than 50 restaurants are participating this year and 13 are in Riverhead Town.

This year, being the event's 10th anniversary, WordHampton has added vineyard and hospitality businesses into the mix.

According to Tara Berkoski, an account executive at WordHampton, vineyards will be offering discounts in tasting rooms and lodging properties are offering special rates. To find out more about which vineyards and lodging accommodations are participating, click here.

In addition, to celebrate it's 10th year, WordHampton will be donating $10 to , which provides shelter for the area's homeless, for every Facebook like on the Hamptons Restaurant Facebook Page.

Aside from creating Hamptons Restaurant Week, WordHampton is also the organizer of , which takes place in November. More than 200 restaurants across the island participate in the event that restaurants say is a boon to business.
