What Are You Eating for the Super Bowl?

Most local eateries are offering regular football Sunday deals on Super Bowl Sunday.

While Super Bowl Sunday may be a big event for many people, most local eateries aren't changing things up from any football Sunday, offering the same deals they've had all season.

owner Vic Prusinowski said "it's just a regular football Sunday," which for BBQ fans the regular two-for-onw drink specials they offer will go hand in hand with half priced appetizers.

owner Steven Wirth said Super Bowl Sunday often ends up being slower than normal, since many people go to house parties. Especially when the home team is playing.

"You would think it would benefit, but it's actually kind of a detractor," he said. "They don't want to go driving around. Everybody is going to somebody's house."

Digger's usually does $3 Coors Lights, $4 Coronas, and 50-cent wings, and Super Bowl Sunday will be no different.

At , pies normall $13.50 plus tax will be going for $10.95 or two for $20, plus tax - pick-up and cash orders only.

on Route 58 is offering their regular cheese pizza, 12 chicken wings, and two-liter of soda for $21.50.

If it's a big party you're trying to please,  Brick Oven Pizza is offering a special feeding between 12 and 15 people for $199 plus tax. It comes with an appetizer choice, salad choice, three-foot hero, entree choice, and a tray of homemade brownies. Call for details.

At Phil's in Wading River, half-priced appetizers accompany $2.50 Bud Light, Miller Light, and Coors Light drafts, and $4 Heineken drafts. They're also holding a free halftime giveaway and buffet.

Mema's in Calverton is also doing its regular football special, with 12 wings, 12 garlic knots, a two-liter, and a cheese pizza for $24.99 plus tax.
