Zagat Notes Local Restaurants in Survey Rankings
Luce and Hawkins top five for decor, top 10 for a romantic meal and service.
A handful of Riverhead restaurants earned recognition from restaurant surveyor Zagat on Wednesday with the release of its annual survey.
Zagat surveys over 900 restaurants on Long Island with the help of a network of over 6,000 surveyors.
cracked more than one top 10 list, as the Jamesport restaurant was ranked in the top 5 lists in decor and hotel dining, and top 10 in service and romantic places to eat out.

Wading River's La Plage was selected the second-best restaurant to have an eclectic meal on Long Island and made the top 20 in food.
and Blackwell's cracked the top 20 in the best decor category.
