5 Things in the Area to Get Out and Do This Weekend

Whether you feel like walking or taking a trolley to a winery, here's a few things to do out East this weekend.

With a three-day weekend upon us now, after last weekend it will be nice to get out and about and either see some of the area or maybe just kick back and relax.

If you prefer the former, take a look at five things to do in the area this weekend, hop in your car and hope for good weather.

  • : Take a ride out to beautiful Bridgehampton for this summer 'must' for many. Delayed by Tropical Storm Irene, the Classic started on Wednesday and comes to a close on Sunday. Admission is $10.
  • : This private tour trolley offers trips through North Fork wineries. You do the drinking, let them do the driving.
  • : Sponsored by and benefiting East Hampton Rotary, this event will run on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5.
  • : Hosted by St. Mark's Church, the third annual festival will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Great Lawn, at the corners of Main Street and Pontuck Lane. Admission is free.
  • : Just looking (or just have the time?) to get out for a quick walk? Trek the walking path at this Mt. Sinai park.
