As it has in years' past, the 7-Eleven chain, which is celebrating its 85th year in business, will be giving away free Slurpees on July 11 at approximately 8,200 stores across the United States.
Between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. each customer will recieve a 7.11-ounce Slurpee in the flavor of their choice.
There are two locations in the Riverhead where residents can stop by and grab a frozen treat:
- 1733 Old Country Road, Riverhead
- 1050 Old Country Road, Riverhead
