Don't Miss: 'Hogs and Hot Rods Rock the Shelter'

The event will benefit the Riverhead Move the Animal Shelter organization.

Head out for a good time -- and help Riverhead's animals move to a new shelter.

The "Hogs and Hot Rods Rock the Shelter" fundraiser takes place on Sunday, April 7, to benefit the Riverhead Move the Animal Shelter organization.

The group, founded by Denise Lucas, has worked to raise funds for a new shelter. When the town's municipal shelter was privatized recently, and a new location suggested for Enterprise Park at Calverton, Councilman Jim Wooten said Lucas planned to continue fundraising to facilitate providing the best possible facility for the animals.
