Former Councilman Elected to Hauppauge Industrial Association Board

Christopher E. Kent, of Quogue, was named earlier this month.

Former Riverhead Town Councilman Christopher E. Kent, of Quogue, was recently named to the Hauppauge Industrial Association Board, which oversees the 1,400 acre Hauppauge Industrial Park, home to 1,300 companies.

Kent, A Hofstra University of Law graduate, is a partner in Farrell Fritz's municipal and real estates departments. He also serves on the YMCA of Long Island, Inc.’s board of directors; the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council’s infrastructure workgroup; and on the Long Island Association’s energy & environment and economic development & infrastructure committees.

In addition, Kent, who is a former Baiting Hollow resident, previously served as a Riverhead Town councilman under former Supervisor Phil Cardinale. He also served as Deputy Suffolk County Executive under former Supervisor Steve Levy until he left to take a position at Farrel Fritz in September 2011.
