Get Out: Hunt for Eggs, Walk Your Dog, and Gaze at the Stars

With the Passover and Easter season in full swing, take some time to celebrate the season with family, dogs, artwork, and stars.

 

Many of the kids have been off from school this week so why not take the family out for some springtime fun this weekend?  

 

Find out what's happening in Riverheadwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Where/When: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday evening at the East End Arts Council.
  • Why go: This exhibit should be a great look at how artists perceive light on the East End.
  • Pricing: Free but donations are always accepted.

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Atlantis Marine World.
  • Why go: Atlantis puts on a great show for families and those penguins are pretty cute.
  • Pricing: $27.95 for children and seniors/ $32.95 for adults. Members have a discounted rate.

  • Where/When: Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hallockville.
  • Why go: Take your dogs on a guided stroll the Hallockville property.
  • Pricing: Free.

  • Where/When: Saturday at 12 p.m. at Martha Clara Vineyards.
  • Why go: This may be the first egg hunt that is more fun for the grownups than the kids.
  • Pricing: Free admission.

  • Where/When:  Saturday at 8 p.m. at Custer Institute in Southold.
  • Why go: As the weather gets warmer, Custer Institute will have more special events each Saturday evening. If you’ve never gazed at the stars before, here’s a great opportunity to do so.
  • Pricing: $10 for members/$13 for non-members/$5 for kids.
