Riverhead Petco offers a full service grooming salon. Grooming options include a full-service grooming, which includes a brush-out, bath, nail trim, haircut, glands check and more; a full-service bath, which includes all of the above except the haircut; and the works package which offers a medicated shampoo and teeth cleaning. Petco also offers speciality services such as flea treatments, spot on treatments and nail coloring.

The animal hospital in downtown Riverhead offers grooming for pets Wednesday — Saturday and medicated baths Monday — Saturday.

The chateau is a division of the East End Veterinary Emergency and Speciality Center. Although it is mostly known for doggie day-care and boarding, the hotel also offers full service grooming. A 20-year veteran groomer offers grooming at Chateau Des Paws on Thursdays from 3 - 7 and Saturdays from 9 - 1.
