June 30: Classic Car Show Rolls On

Also, Polish steak night and a youth program open house.

1. The weekly free rolls into town tonight starting at 5 p.m. Join dozens of retro rides on the banks of the Peconic Waterfront for a night of face-painting and family fun.

2. If classic cars don't rev your engine, try the "Blues Cruise," a free concert held in conjunction with the car show. At 6 p.m., Long Island-based tribute band Mad Co. will rock out at the Peconic Waterfront.

3. The traditional Polish Steak Night, held once a month at Polish Hall, offers tasty steak with  gravy and mashed potatoes plus unlimited drinks tonight in Polish Town. This popular event fills up fast, so call 727-9200 or 727-3933 for reservations.

4. The First Parish Church, UCC will hold an for their summer youth program today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The program, designed to teach children to live healthy, costs $475 per child with discounts available for multiple children. The open house will be held at the "Grange," a historic building at 5268 Sound Avenue, Northville.  

5. The National Weather Service forecasts another bright summer day, with sun and highs near 77 degrees.
