Michael Hubbard Utters First Word Since Accident: 'Yeah'

According to online journal, his mom, Nancy Reyer, asked if he likes go-karting.

Michael Hubbard, a 15-year-old Riverhead boy over Memorial Day weekend who has been hospitalized since, uttered his first word since the traumatic experience: "Yeah."

According to a post on CaringBridge.org, a website the family has been using to chronicle their journey, Michael's mother, Nancy Reyer, asked Michael if he likes go-karting.

"Yeah," he replied.

On CaringBridge, she wrote, "ALL 3 OF US CRIED HE SPOKE YA GOD IS SO GOOD."

Hubbard was at the end of September, where Reyer has traveled to stay with him.
