Question of the Day: Are You Attending the Animal Shelter's Adoption Fair?
The Riverhead Animal Shelter is waiving adoption fees to help adopt out shelter dogs. We're curious if you'll get a dog as a result.
The is holding a free adoption fair on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The town will be waiving adoption fees for anyone who takes home a dog from the Youngs Avenue facility.
All dogs will be spayed, neuterd, vaccinated and microchipped. The adoption fee is normally $50.
