Weekend Guide: Grease Jr., Jazz, Slides, and Benefits

See what's going on around town this weekend.

1. Get the weekend started as East End Arts gets  started. Tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the music festival kicks off with a live jazz jam at  at the Hotel Indigo. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

2. Friday night is the first showing of the Middle School Masques' performance of Catch the show Friday night at 7 p.m. or Saturday at 2 p.m. at the cafetorium. Not around this weekend? They'll also be performing next weekend! Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

3. We would say if you're looking for something to do Saturday night, there's a to benefit upgrading the , a . However, it's sold out! Visit her website to see when the next event is. So if you're looking for a benefit, Bedell Cellars is hosting , including wine, light food and entertainment. Tickets are $40.

4. If music is more your thing, is hosting slide guitarist Kenny Kearney. The ',' normally held at Brookhaven Lab's Berkner Hall, is moving to downtown Riverhead for its 10th incarnation. Tickets are $15, and the show starts at 7 p.m.

5. The , a barbershop, all-female vocal group, will perform at the Riverhead Free Library on Sunday afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
