- Why go: To celebrate this piece of local history and benefit the Friends of the Big Duck, who keep it going.

- Where/when: Meets at Hallockville Museum Farm; Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.
- Why go: To learn about some of the history of Sound Avenue from someone who knows the town's history.
- Pricing: $40. Reservations are required.
- Where/when: Strawberry Fields, Mattituck; all weekend.
- Why go: This huge draw has rides, food, fun, and benefits the Mattituck Lions Club.
- Pricing: $5 for adults; $2 for kids ages 6 to 11; free for kids 5 and under.
