Weekend Planner: Tommy Keys, LI Aquarium, Super Bowl Sunday

Here's what's on the roster this weekend in Riverhead.

The Super Bowl might be the focus for many this weekend, but wineries and many other groups are offering activities:

1. Go behind-the-scenes and see firsthand all that’s involved in creating a hospitable environment for aquatic residents at the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center in Riverhead this weekend. You can alos help feed the clownfish. Tours run daily at 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Reserve your spot at the ticketing window.

2. Learn how to create better health and wealth at a workshop to take place Saturday at the Green Earth Natural Foods Market on Main Street in Riverhead at 2:30 p.m.

3. Saturday night at Tweed’s can only mean one thing — a great time with live music from Tommy Keys at 7 p.m. Music starts at 7 p.m. Tommy Keys, a New York Blues Hall of Fame Inductee, will be playing barrelhouse/boogie piano. Stop in for a drink or have something to eat. Dinner reservations suggested.

4. Comtesse Therese Vineyards offer tours of their Aquebogue location every Saturday at 3 p.m., featuring a guided vineyard tour, tasting of four wines, and sampling of artisanal cheeses made from North Fork cow's milk for $15.
