Campaign Mailers: Helpful in Decision Making or Nuisance?

With the arrival of Election Day, your mailbox should be a little lighter.

Campaign literature — we all get it in our mailboxes this time of year when political hopefuls are looking for your vote.

But, does it make a difference?

Chris Nuzzi, a candidate for Suffolk County legislator running against Legis. Jay Schneiderman, sent out several over the past few weeks, writing a full letter to voters. "With your help, I believe that I can be a steady, guiding hand to lead Suffolk County and the East End in addressing these issues," Nuzzi wrote. "Not because I have all the answers, but rather, I know how to listen."

Do you find campaign mailers like this one helpful or does it just end up in the trash?

Sound off in the comments below. Tell us which candidates mailers you found the most appealing (or least appealing) and why.
