Celebratory Hike - 20th Anniversary of the Pine Barrens Protection Act

In honor of the historic passage of the Pine Barrens Protection Act, the Long Island Pine Barrens Society is holding a celebratory hike through the Pine Barrens themselves. The trail is an easy and family-friendly path through the woods and the hike will be led by expert naturalists who are happy to share all of their knowledge about the wonders of the Barrens with their groups. After, guests are invited to bring a lunch to enjoy at the Refuge's picnic area or continue to enjoy the facilities at the Refuge. All are welcome to celebrate 20 years of preservation and a true Long Island Success Story!
