Center for Creative Retirement: Today's program

The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.

Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.

On Thursday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., get involved in the topic of women's rights in different parts of the world--from full equality through developing equality to barbaric subjugation.  And in the afternoon, after lunch, from noon to 1 p.m., find out that rock and roll music really didn't start in the 1950s, but had its roots in the roaring 20's.
