The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.
Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.
On Thursday, September 19, at 10 a.m., CCR begins its Director Billy Wilder film series. Starting at 10 a.m., see the 1953 blockbuster film, "Stalag 17," starring William Holden and Otto Preminger. In a discussion of the movie, learn about behind-the-scene facts that will increase your appreciation.
