The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.
Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.
On Tuesday September 17, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., come to class ready to laugh. Hear an introduction to this semester's course on comic performers, which will be followed by a presentation on the immortal comedy team, Burns and Allen. The afternoon, from noon to 1:00 p.m., will have the life of Director Billy Wilder whose films will be shown in a CCR film series this fall semester.
