Center for Creative Retirement-Today's Program

The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.

Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.

Join us on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for Part 2 of the play, "The Solid Gold Cadillac." Enjoy this comedy about greedy businesmen and the flaky stockholder who puts their feet to the fire. See CCR members reading the parts of the comic characters.

We continue at noon with a one-hour current events roundtable where foreign and domestic news of the week is discussed. It's a lively back-and-forth exchange that's presided over by an experienced moderator.

Membership fees continue to be very reasonable.
