Center for Creative Retirement-Today's Program

The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.

Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.

On Thursday, at 10 a.m., we continue our film series on Director Billy Wilder with his 1950 film-noire classic, "Sunset Boulevard," starring Gloria Swanson, William Holden, and Eric von Stroheim.  The film is the progenitor of the successful Boradway musical of the same name.

Discuss the film during the brown-bag lunch that follows.  Get behind-the-scenes facts, and compare critiques with your fellow viewers.
