Edible Flowers & Flavored Sugars Cooking Class

Celebrate the beginning of summer by using the first flowers of the season to make garnishes and flavored sugars in this class, part of a series presented by A Taste of the North Fork and Hallockville. This hands-on workshop will instruct participants in identifying and using edible flowers in salads, baking and other dishes, as well as demonstrate the techniques needed to produce delicate flavored sugars and crystallized flowers. Participants will enjoy samples and take home two bottles of flavored sugar. Advance registration required, $35/$25 members, plus $6 materials fee. This class will be held at Hallockville.
