Women in Long Island's Past: Presentation with Dr. Natalie Naylor

Join us for a presentation and discussion with Natalie Naylor, Ph.D., as she discusses her book, "Women in Long Island's Past."  In recent decades, women's history has received much attention, but women are still often invisible in local history.  Naylor will explain how she began to explore women in Long Island's history three decades ago.  She will provide information on nationally important women who have lived and worked on Long Island, discuss women's roles and some of the individual women in Long Island's past, and conclude with general comments on women's history. Naylor will have books availble for a signing after the presentation.
