Harvest Hoedown - Drive to support Holiday Help Program

Harvest Hoedown for children of all ages on Nov 9th to be a
Drive to support Holiday Help Program of the Riverhead School District:
 Katie’s Puppets will be Special Guest




Lyrical Children’s Preschool
& Learning Center
to hold 2nd Annual Harvest Hoedown with many hands on activities for
the children including a “Hands On Puppet Museum”.





Families with children of all ages are invited to attend the 2nd
annual Harvest Hoedown at Lyrical Children’s Preschool & Learning Center on Route 25 in Calverton on Saturday Nov 9th, 2013 between 11:30 am
& 1:30 pm.  Katie’s Puppets
will be a special guest with her “Hands On Puppet Museum” featuring different types of
string or arm puppets, large & small – all for the children to
try.  Plus a very special BIG
Puppet!  Children can create a Harvest
Painting Creation with our art teacher, Miss Karen, play drums to Foot Stompin
music , plus other FUN activities.  Support
our drive for the Holiday Help Program of the Riverhead School District
5th & 6th grades by donating items for children from
families that are struggling financially or having serious financial difficulty
making basic ends meet.  This also includes families who’ve
experienced a traumatic family event (such as home fire, parent/caregiver dying and was breadwinner for the family). 
Suggested donations include: gift cards to local store, age appropriate
toys & games, sports balls, jewelry sets, new or gently used warm clothing,
card games.  Those who make a donation
will receive a $5 per child discount on their admission price.  Ticket price is $15 per child / $25 per family.  Call 631-208-4003 or email lyricalchildren@optonline.net  for more information.  Reservations are suggested.
