Local Bands to Battle It Out at Paddlers For Humanity's Latest Fundraiser

Paddlers for Humanity, a local not-for-profit that donates to
projects and programs dedicated to children and youth, will host its latest
fundraiser, the Battle of the Bands on
Thursday, August 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Surf Lodge.
The night will begin with a performance by powerhouse blues-based band Joe
Delia & Thieves (http://bit.ly/16bgNTs) from 6 to 7 p.m. The battle will begin
at 7 p.m. and competing bands will be judged on their overall performance.
Competing bands include Revel in Dimes (http://revelindimes.com), Hopefully
Forgiven (http://bit.ly/1cNUTLn) and the Montauk Project (http://on.fb.me/1cL9VRZ). The panel of judges includes Brian
Cosgrove, music director and program host at 88.3 Peconic Public Broadcasting
radio; Katherine C.H.E., a local singer, songwriter, author, producer and event
music consultant; and film composer, pianist and producer Joe Delia of Joe
Delia & Thieves.

Tickets cost $35 and may be purchased at www.p4h.org. Proceeds will be donated to the
causes of P4H
