'Save Wading River' Informational Meeting

 The Riverhead Neighborhood Preservation Coalition (RNPC) will present information on proposed development to Wading River residents at 7p.m., Wednesday, June 1, at the North Shore Public Library at Shoreham-Wading River High School.The group is looking at preventing a proposed doubling of commercial development in Wading River. Meeting topics will include “What is the Threat?” “How Much is Too Much?” “What’s Being Done” and “How You Can Help.”  A question and answer period will follow the presentation.  The program is free. Representatives from Group for the East End, North Fork Environmental Council, and the Wading River Civic Association will join the presentation, which will be facilitated by Lake Panamoka resident Dick Amper.
