Apple Honda Fills A Car With Warm Coats for Needy
Coats are needed for men, women, and children.
With temperatures plummeting, many needy families might have to face the grim reality of choosing between a warm coat and groceries or paying for a fuel delivery.
To that end, Apple Honda of Riverhead will team up with New York Cares, which has, for 24 years, been collecting new and gently used winter coats during the holiday season for men, women and children.
Apple Honda of Riverhead aims to fill a Honda Ridgeline "many times" with coats.
Anyone looking to donate a new or gently used coat can bring it to Apple Honda of Riverhead at 1375 County Road 58; the business is open seven days a week.
