5 Events this Week: Winter Concert, Toys for Tots Open Mic at the Vail

1. The will hold an  on Monday from 12 to 4 p.m. The hospital will offer a free assessment of your physical therapy needs.

2. On Tuesday the Riverhead, Flanders, Wading River, and Jamesport fire districts will hold elections for fire commissioner, though the candidates for Riverhead and Flanders are running unopposed. Voters can cast their ballots at the following locations:

•  25 Manor Lane, Jamesport, 1 to 9 p.m.
• Jamesport: 1503 North Country Road, Wading River, 1 to 9 p.m.
•  , Riverhead, 3 to 9 p.m.
• Flanders: 19 Firehouse Lane, Flanders, 6 to 9 p.m.

3. The will host an on Wednesday afternoon to showcase its collection of more than 60 different cultivars of poinsettias. The free event begins at 12:30 p.m.

4. In the mood for some music? Stop by the at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday to hear the Riverhead Middle School's 7th- and 8th-grade 

5. This week's at the has a special twist. Starting at 7 p.m., the open mic session will ask for donations for Toys for Tots. Tickets cost $5 and guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to the Vail for donation.
