Don't Miss: Riverhead Move the Animal Shelter Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

The spaghetti dinner will help to raise funds to move the town's animal shelter.

Denise Lucas continues in her quest to raise funds for Riverhead Town's four-legged friends.

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Riverhead VFW, located at 620 Parkway Street, to benefit the Riverhead Move the Anmal Shelter organization.

Catered by Karen's Katerin' Dinner, tickets cost $12 per person, with a cash bar, and include spaghetti and meatballs, Caesar salad, bread and butter, and cookies. Dinners can be eaten in or taken out. A meatless sauce will be available for vegetarians.

For more information and tickets, click here, call Denise Lucas at 516-768-7467, or visit Louie's Auto on Sweezy Avenue in Riverhead.

Proceeds will be used to help get the new dog park open at Stotzky Park within a month, and to help us move the town's animal shelter by fall, Lucas said.
