Funeral services for Demitri Hampton, the young man shot and killed in a Flanders armed home invasion Sunday morning, have been scheduled.
A wake will be held on Saturday at the Galilee Church of God in Christ, 87 Old Quogue Road in Riverside from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
A funeral service will follow from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Since Hampton was shot and killed, family and friends have been mourning his loss. Police said Monday it is possible he was just an innocent bystander, although the investigation is ongoing.
