Heartbroken friends and family devastated over the loss of Riverhead High School graduate Matthew Quigley, 20, who died in a tragic car accident last weekend, will pay their last respects today.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home, located at 6447 Route 25A, in Wading River.
A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 8 p.m., with cremation private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Matthew's memory to the SoundWaters Organization, an organization dedicated to protecting the Long Island Sound through education. To donate, go to Soundwaters.org and select the donate tab in the upper right hand corner of the page.
This week, Quigley was mourned by many who remembered his smile and his enthusiasm and passion for the water.
