With the blizzard this past weekend, did Valentine's Day sneak up on you? Don't get caught without a gift on Thursday. We found some local flower shop deals that are sure to warm your Valentine's heart.

1. Get a Teddy in Riverhead

2. Buy a Dozen Roses, Get a Half Dozen Free

Mattituck Florist, located at 95 Love Lane in Mattituck, is offering an additional half dozen roses if you buy a dozen starting Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. Tell them you saw it on Patch and get the deal! The shop is open from 9 to 6 p.m. For more information, call 631-298-5840.

3. Country Petals Keeps Prices Low

Country Petals owner Nancy Gilbert said she decided to keep her prices low instead of raising them to the usual 70 to 80 dollars for roses at her Peconic flower shop, located at 43385 Route 25. A dozen arranged roses in a vase is $48 this year, and the shop is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Call 631-765-4005 for more information.

4. Find Unusual Floral Arrangements in Greenport

Clarke’s Garden, located at 416 Main Street in Greenport, will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering unusual gift items at various price points. Arrangements of traditional roses, spring tulips and other bouquets start at $20 up. Call 631-477-6770.

5. Nothing Like Roses and Chocolates for Valentine’s Day

Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Ivy League Florist, located at 56475 Route 25 in Southold, is offering a special arrangement of a dozen roses in a vase with a box of delectable Harry London Chocolates for $99.99.
