Share Your Photos, Relationship Advice in Honor of Valentine's Day

What makes your marriage or relationship work? Upload a wedding or anniversary photo on Patch with your advice in the caption and/or let us know by commenting below.

Whether you've been married for one day, one month or one year, share your photos and relationship advice. Not married but in a relationship or domestic partnership? Riverhead Patch also wants to hear how you've made your relationship a success.

Christina Tucker Cleary of Rocky Point commented on Riverhead Patch Facebook that her marriage to her high school sweetheart 22 years ago has worked primarily because of a mutual want to make each other happy.

"My best bit of advice is to always want your partner to be happy, even if it doesn't meet with your brand of happiness," she wrote. "Do things apart as well as together. Accept that what you both do for your family is important, and it makes your family much stronger."

"Above all, make time for each other," she continued. "Have a date night. Don't ever forget why you fell in love with them in the first place. And never forget that you are human, and choosing to be together forever is a really hard commitment, but worth it."

We are hoping to fill this photo gallery with photos of local couples and words of advice from area readers. Can you help us out?
