Chutney Creamed Chicken

3-ingredients and delicious flavor and very little effort with this Chutney Creamed Chicken recipe.

I have been making this dish for years. It is one of my “go to” dishes when I am in a hurry.  You are going to love this because it only has two ingredients and has a tremendous amount of flavor.  I used to use cranberry chutney but now find mango chutney is more to my liking.  I’ve made the recipe using all different chicken parts and all work well. Recipe doubles and triples easily.

Chutney Creamed Chicken

4-chicken breasts or equal amount of chicken parts (about 1 to 1 and 1/2 pounds)

8 ounce jar of chutney

1-cup (8 ounces) heavy cream

Heat oven to 350º

Soften chutney in microwave and mix well with cream.

Place chicken pieces in one layer in a low casserole and top with cream mixture. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes.  Turn chicken half way through the cooking process.  Serves 4.

Lisa - is there any way to post on the main page? That would be a big help. Thank you.
