2-Car Crash Sends 3 to Hospital
Car was pulling out of Peconic Bay Medical Center onto Route 58.
Three people were sent to the hospital Tuesday morning after a Nissan Sentra driving westbound on Route 58 slammed into a Toyota Corolla pulling out of a Peconic Bay Medical Center parking lot.
The crash occurred at 8: 50 a.m. and Route 58 was shut down heading eastbound between the Roanoke Avenue traffic circle and Ostrander Avenue.
Police said the individuals sent to ths hospital did not sustain major injures, but were suffering from some neck pain.

Route 58 was back open in both directions by 9:30 a.m.
