Updated: Responders Rush to Flanders Car Crash
Three vehicles were involved in a chain reaction crash at a traffic light on Route 24.
Police and firefighters responded around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday evening to a three-car crash on Bellows Pond Road in Flanders.
Responders on the scene said the cars crashed in a chain reaction at a traffic light. Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Hampton Bays Fire Department was called to bring heavy rescue equipment to the scene.
