Classic Car Reported Stolen From Riverfront
Police are investigating the alleged grand larceny.
Riverhead Town Police are investigating an alleged grand larceny after a classic car was reported stolen from downtown Riverhead on Monday.
According to a police report, a four-door, white 1965 Belvedere was reportedly stolen from its space at the Peconic parking lot on Peconic riverfront on Monday at approximately 6:30 p.m.
The car was left unlocked and unattended for a brief period of time, police say.
