Cops: Flanders Man Hit Victim In Head With Metal Object

The incident occurred on Brookhaven Avenue.

Southampton Town Police arrested Trever Jackson, 18, of Flanders on Friday at 9:30 p.m. after an incident in which Jackson allegedly hit a man in the head with a metal object.

Police allege Jackson, during an incident on Brookhaven Avenue in Flanders, hit a victim in the head with a metal object. He was arrested and charged with assault in the second degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a felony.

The victim was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment. Police said Jackson was arrested without incident and held for a Saturday morning arraignment at Southampton Town justice court.
