Cops: Flanders Man Sold Alcohol to Minor

An employee of Valero gas station in Cutchogue was charged with unlawful dealing with a child, a misdemeanor.

A Flanders man was arrested by New York State Police after he was reportedly caught selling alcohol to a minor during a police sting on the North Fork.

According to police, 51-year-old Mohammad Ayub was charged on Feb. 27 with unlawful dealing with a child, a misdemeanor, and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, a violation.

Ayub works at the Cutchogue Valero station, accoridng to police – the only one of 13 establishments in Southold found to be in violation.
