Cops: Calverton Man Busted For Doing Drugs in Beach Bar Parking Lot

Police said men were found to have cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana.

A Calverton man was charged with drug possession after police said they found him doing drugs in the parking lot of a Hampton Bays bar early Sunday morning.

Joseph Madigan, 27, of Calverton was observed ingesting drugs and found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and ecstasy, while sitting in a vehicle in the Beach Bar parking lot in Hampton Bays with Kristopher Lindstrand, 27, of Manorville early Sunday at 12:45 a.m., Southampton Town police said.

Madigan was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.

Police said Lindstrand, who was in possession of a quantity of cocaine and marijuana, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
