Cops: Man Had Marijuana On Dashboard

Southampton arrests from Sept. 26 through Oct.1.

Drug Arrests

  • Maxwell Gillies, 21, of Cutchogue, was arrested Sept. 26 at 9:08 p.m. in Flanders after his vehicle was stopped on CR 104. Police say they discovered a small quantity of marijuana that was in plain view on the dashboard of the car. Additionally, said the officers, they located 25 grams of pot stored in a plastic bag under the driver’s seat. Gillies was charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
