Cops: Flanders Woman Charged With Leaving Toddler Home Alone
Southampton Police reports through Oct. 15.

Endangering the Welfare of a Child
•Joy Flowers, 20, of Flanders, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, Oct. 10 at 7:15 a.m. Police reported that Flowers left her 22 month-old child at home for six hours unattended at a home on Albany Avenue in Flanders.

Drugs
James Costello, 46, of Wading River, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession after his car was stopped for speeding by police on Flanders Road Oct. 13 at 9:30 a.m. According to the report, Costello was in possession of a prescription controlled substance not prescribed for him.

Criminal Mischief
•Adam Principe, 37, of Riverhead, was arrested Oct. 11 at 9:50 p.m. and charged with third -degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, in Flanders. Police say Principe caused $500 in damage to a property on Evergreen Road during a violent incident.
