A 26-year-old Riverside man was arrested on felony charges on Wednesday after Southampton Town Police said he sexually abused a six-year-old girl in October.
Marvin Patzan was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual abuse, a felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Police said the incident occurred sometime in October at a Riverside home involving a child who was known to him, though due to the sensitivity of the crimes, did not release further information.
Patzan was arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court and was remanded to Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
