Police Searching For Men They Say Stole Electrical Wiring From Lowe's

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Riverhead police department are asking the public to take a look at these photos and help locate the men who allegedly stole electrical wiring from Lowe's in Riverhead.

Two men entered the store, located at 1461 Old Country Road, on September 28 at approximately 10 a.m. and ripped packaging off five rolls of wire before leaving the store without paying for them, police said.

The first suspect is described as white male, in his mid-40s, with dark hair, and balding. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and tan-colored work boots. The second suspect is described as a black male in his mid to late 30s. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black shirt and blue jeans. The men were taped on video surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5000 for information that leads to an arrest.
