Cops: Suspects Hit Riverside Man With Bottle

Also according to the week's Southampton Town incident reports, credit cards stolen from unlocked car; altercation over money.

Recent crimes and suspicious incidents recently reported to the Southampton Town Police Department:

Grand Larceny

• In Riverside on Sept. 21, a woman said various credit and ID cards were taken from her unlocked vehicle that was parked on Flanders Road.

Harassment

• In Riverside Sept. 16, an argument over money led to an altercation at a residence on Moynard Road in Riverside. A male complainant told police that another man pushed him when he asked for money owed.

Petty Larceny

• In Riverside on Sept. 20, a man reported to police that a GPS, laptop bag, knee brace and street maps were stolen from his car that had been parked on Flanders Road at the time of the theft.

Assault

• A Riverside man told police that several individuals who were visiting his roommate Sept. 23 at a home on Old Quogue Road attacked him and hit him with a bottle. The victim was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment. Police said that the perpetrators responsible for the attack face two charges of felony assault.
