East End Drug Task Force Warrant Yields 3 Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions.

A warrant executed in Riverside on March 2 at 6:09 a.m. by Suffolk County's East End Drug Task Force yielded three marijuana-related arrests at a home on Lake Avenue. A 55-year-old and 29-year-old, both of Riverside, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Jose Maysonet, 46, was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

The East End Drug Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit funded by the office of Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota. The task force includes detectives, police offices, and law enforcement personnel from the New York State Police, New York State Parole the Suffolk County Police Department, District Attorney Detective-Investigators, East Hampton Town Police Department, East Hampton Village Police Department, Shelter Island Police Department, Southold Police Department, Riverhead Police Department, Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, and the Suffolk County Department of Probation.
