A Flanders man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday night.
According to Southampton Town Police, on Saturday at 12:25 a.m., police arrested Juan Martinez, 32, of Flanders, and charged him with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Police said Martinez was observed traveling on Flanders Road in Riverside, failing to maintain his traffic lane. Martinez was stopped by police on Flanders Road at Old Quogue Road.
During the investigation it was found that Martinez was operating in an intoxicated condition, police said.
Martinez was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for a morning arraignment.
