Flanders Man to be Arraigned for Reported Baseball Bat Attack

A 22-year-old Flanders man beat another person with a baseball bat at a Flanders gas station last October, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.

A Flanders man will be arraigned on Monday for allegedly beating another man with a baseball bat at a Riverside gas station last October.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office, 22-year-old Isidro DeLeon Galindo was arrested by New York State Police after he struck a victim in the face with a bat after an extended argument.

The victim suffered cuts and facial swelling and was treated for his injuries at Peconic Bay Medical Center.

Galindo stands charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

The Flanders resident was indicted on March in front of Suffolk County Judge Stephen Braslow.
